Founded in 1994, Swarn New Delhi finds its roots in The Roots of India, a family-run textile business established in the heart of Central Delhi. What began as a wholesale venture with its own store, office, and workshop was built on a simple yet powerful belief: that India’s textiles deserve to be preserved, respected, and shared with integrity.

Founded by Gulshan Singh Gambhir and Rinita Gambhir, the business grew through decades of hands-on experience, deep relationships with artisans, and an unwavering commitment to quality. Working closely with weavers, embroiderers, and craftsmen across India, The Roots of India became known for its trust, craftsmanship, and understanding of fabric at its core.

Swarn New Delhi was born from this legacy, carrying forward the same values while reimagining them for a modern audience. Today, Swarn curates premium unstitched suits that blend traditional Indian craftsmanship with contemporary design sensibilities.
